Data Request Terms and Conditions

Data Disclaimer

AGI (AGI) collects meteorological data from several sources and generates meteorological data and associated derivatives. Some of the data comes from meteorological networks that are not operated by AGI. AGI assumes that the sensors at these other stations are properly calibrated and that station maintenance is performed routinely. AGI has no control or influence over the activities undertaken at stations not operated by AGI. AGI takes no responsibility for the quality of data from stations managed by other agencies, nor does AGI intend to imply that these stations meet or exceed AGI's own standards for meteorological station operation. Requestors are encouraged to contact the various agencies that provide meteorological data outside AGI's own network and to make their own judgments as the suitability of data as it pertains to the Requestor's particular needs and/or applications. Station ownership can be determined by going to https://acis.alberta.ca, and selecting weather station data. Use the map to select the station(s). The selected stations will appear in a list under the map. Click on the information icon next to the station name. The station details will be listed, including station metadata that includes the owner and operator, elements reported and station pictures, if available. To insure that AGI has an accurate record of your data request, and the intended use for the data, please fill out in detail the following application form.
